It is fair to say that we all want younger skin. As we age, the supple skin of our youth begins to lose its elasticity, and the resulting wrinkles are a testimony to our years of progress.
Because no one is immune to wrinkles, it's a billion dollar industry. Cosmetic companies continue to pay a premium in this lucrative sector of the world of beauty, with millions of people around the world continuing to buy anti-wrinkle cream after the anti-wrinkle cream, despite its apparent inefficiency.
Personally, I have never bought an anti-wrinkle product in my life, and I have no intention of doing so. TV commercial enough to make me laugh: peeling microspheres? Nanoparticles of Deep Penetration Serum Moisturizer? This is marketing hocus-pocus, designed to sound edgy and ridiculously effective, but almost always it's just a mix of intoxicating chemicals. Do you need to moisturize your skin? Here's an idea: moisten it and then apply the coconut oil. No microbeads or serums are needed!
Most of these commercial anti-wrinkle products do much more harm than good. In their weak attempts to make their cream a leading candidate for wrinkle prices, they pump their products full of harsh chemicals and preservatives that not only absorb the layers of skin in the blood, but also speed up the progression of the skin. Aging first! It's a bit ironic, really.
So, is there no hope for your skin? I agree! As always, your best option is to use nature to maintain optimal nutrition and the lasting health of your skin. Try these natural anti wrinkle alternatives and save money (and the health of your skin!) In this process.
coconut oil
Coconut oil is the first on the list of natural anti-wrinkle remedies just because I am completely in love with things. Since I arrived in Paleo, the coconut has found a space that is very close to my heart, because not only cooking but also combing, exfoliating, moisturizing dark chocolate (seriously, giving a taste) and of course moisturizing
The fatty medium chains in the walnut oil of coconut on it make it incredibly nutritious for your skin and, when used properly, can block moisture and provide a protective barrier that relieves the effects of aging and sunshine. All of these factors mean that daily use of a good dose of cold pressed coconut oil on the skin helps to prevent these nasty wrinkles.
But here's an important tip that I took a long time to understand: Coconut oil works best when it's applied after you've wet your skin. I usually apply it immediately after showering and make sure it stores moisture before it evaporates. The result is a smooth skin without wrinkles and for a fraction of the cost of these unpleasant wrinkle creams!
olive oil
There is a reason why olive oil has been a skin care product for over 5000 years! From the Egyptians to the Greeks and Romans, the ancient cultures quickly recognized the potential to promote the skin of olive oil, and there are many people who today have a place of honor in their washroom from today.
Olive oil is fully loaded with vitamins A and E, both essential antioxidants to prevent free radical damage in the dermis (skin) and nourish the skin from the outside. Monounsaturated fats in olive oil block moisture, making it a serious candidate for the best natural anti-wrinkle meal available.
As always, quality is the key: For best results, choose cold-pressed olive oil in dark glass bottles.
banana
Bananas are not only good for your home: their potent blend of vitamins and antioxidants can also work wonders on your skin. Vitamins Vitamin C and B in bananas help slow the progression of skin aging, while their famously high levels of potassium help to deeply moisturize skin cells.
To make a powerful anti-wrinkle mask, simply chop up a whole banana and mix in a teaspoon of non-fat natural yoghurt and then apply it to your face. Let the mixture soak for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Continue with a generous dose of coconut oil to block the moisture and your face will smell freshly baked banana bread. Delish!
Aloe vera
Everyone knows that the thick gel in aloe vera leaves is amazing for sunburn and dry, itchy skin. Is it then surprising that it is a good way to prevent the development of wrinkles? Wrinkles occur when the skin cells begin to disappear and the dermis slowly dries and loses its elasticity. Aloe Vera Gel is incredibly moisturizing, prevents the skin from drying out and reduces wrinkling.
Not only is Aloe Vera rich in nutritious skin nutrients that will protect your skin from the whims of daily life. These include vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, E, calcium, potassium and zinc. Preliminary studies suggest that topical application of aloe vera can help treat psoriasis , accelerate wound healing and reduce inflammation , making it an excellent option for your next natural wrinkle cream.
Lemon and honey
If you have big plans for the day and you need to be the best, there is a simple and natural way to make sure your face is young and fresh: the touch of lemon and honey. Honey contains humectants, a natural moisturizer for the skin, while the juice lemon stimulates the skin cells to create more collagen. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a bowl and mix a small amount of raw honey , then use your fingers to apply the mixture to the face. Leave for 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water.
